The ordinary is a compromise between fiction and reality. At night, when it sleeps, life smuggles new tales under its bed. In the morning, it always feels a bit woozy and blames it on the weather. Wondering how quickly time passes, or how this or that politician could be elected.

On his debut album "Don't Worry You Can Always Be Reborn As a Screenshot", Alienationist explores the ordinary with psychogeographic journeys, poetry, and sonic fiction.

SHORT BIO: Alienationist is a Berlin-based writer, musician, sound artist, poet, and editor of Norient. The project started with experimental writings scattered on the internet in 2015, before it crystallized into a multimedia art project at the intersection of poetry, ambient, bass-driven club music, spoken word, and queer theory.
